The FSU Humanities Center awards up to four faculty fellowships each year. The fellowship includes a course reduction and research funding. Fellows collaboratively explore the designated FSU Humanities Center topic for the fellowship year while advancing their own specific projects. They attend lectures and the annual conference as well as other FSU Humanities Center gatherings. Fellows present their research to the FSU Humanities Center community in informal settings such as lunches or workshops. Each fellow contributes to a publication on the topic. Fellows must be in residence for the duration of their appointment to the center.
Applications open Oct. 1, 2026 for the 2027-2028 academic year. Instructions will be posted on this site.
