The FSU Humanities Center awards up to five postdoctoral fellowships every two years. Fellows are appointed for two years at $60,000 per year. Each fellow teaches one course during each academic year. They attend lectures and the annual conference as well as other center gatherings. Fellows present their research to the FSU Humanities Center community in informal settings such as lunches or workshops. Each fellow contributes to a publication on the annual/biennial center topic. Fellows must be in residence for the duration of their appointment to the FSU Humanities Center. Postdoctoral fellows are located in the humanities departments representing their disciplines.
Applications open Oct. 1, 2026 for the 2027-2028 academic year. Instructions will be posted on this site in September 2026.
